Is it necessary to regularly check the air pressure in the air flow system of an air jet loom?

It is very important to regularly check the air pressure in the airflow system of the air-jet loom. Jet looms rely on an airflow system to propel the shuttle through the fabric, which requires stable air pressure to ensure weaving efficiency and fabric quality. If the air pressure in the airflow system is unstable or not within the optimal range, it may cause a series of problems.
When the air pressure is too low, the propulsion of the jet system is insufficient, and the shuttle cannot smoothly pass through the fabric. The weaving speed will decrease, and there may even be fabric breakage or unevenness. Meanwhile, low air pressure may also cause the air nozzle to fail to spray properly, affecting the accuracy of weaving and the quality of the fabric. Insufficient air pressure may also cause uneven airflow distribution on the loom, resulting in inconsistent tension in certain parts of the weaving process, thereby affecting the uniformity of the fabric.
On the contrary, if the air pressure is too high, although it may not be easily detected in the initial stage, over long-term use, the high air pressure will bring greater burden to the jet system, increase wear and damage to various components in the system, and may even lead to premature failure of some components. In addition, excessive air pressure may also cause excessive stretching of the fabric, resulting in uneven tension or fabric deformation.
Regularly checking the air pressure in the airflow system to ensure it is within the appropriate range can effectively prevent these problems from occurring, ensure the efficient and stable operation of the air-jet loom, and improve the quality and production efficiency of the fabric.
